A Project Director (PD) should have a deep understanding and knowledge of the following ISO norms or International Standard frameworks:
ISO/IEC 26000: Corporate Governance
- Organisational governance
- Human rights
- Labour practices
- The environment
- Fair operating practices
- Consumer issues
- Community involvement and development
ISO/IEC 27014: Information Security Governance (ISG)
and decision making capability, and comply with legislation and regulations.
It aligns information security with business objectives, and requires end enforces compliance with laws and regulations as well as information security policies and as well as information security policies and should be implemented using a risk management approach (ISO 27005 and ISO 31000).
Other International Standards and Frameworks
In addition, there are also some interesting Commercial Frameworks (not ISO) such as PRINCE2®, PMBOK®, SCRUM and Agile Projects methods (you can get deeper into them in our 6.Frameworks article category).
